The Mexican Caribbean hosts one of the richest sport fishing tournament circuits in the world, with events running from January through November between Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Mahahual and Holbox. Spring and early summer bring the big billfish and dorado contests, while deep jigging tournaments draw vertical anglers in the fall. Dates and prize structures change each season, so use this calendar as a guide and confirm the current schedule with the organizers. If you would like to fish a tournament or simply charter a boat during the dates, we can arrange a fully equipped vessel and captain for you.
